Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before engaging YourItr for tax filing, consultation, or advisory services. By using our platform, you agree to these conditions.

1Scope of Professional Services

YourItr provides Assisted Income Tax Return (ITR) filing through experienced Tax Professionals and Experts. Our services include:

  • Reviewing user-supplied financial documents (Form 16, AIS/TIS, brokerage P&L accounts, etc.).
  • Calculating tax liabilities, claims, exemptions, and maximizing refunds where legally applicable.
  • Preparing drafts and submitting the validated ITR form online to the Income Tax Department.

Note: Engagements represent filing services only and do not cover legal representation for litigation, IT Department scrutiny audits, or appeals unless explicitly booked under separate premium tax advisory packages.

2Accuracy of User Information

YourItr calculates tax return filings based entirely on details and documents uploaded by the user. You are solely responsible for ensuring:

User Obligation Checklist:

  • Providing accurate, comprehensive details of all global income, capital gains, bank interest, and assets.
  • Ensuring details match official government documents (PAN, Aadhaar, AIS/26AS).
  • Reviewing and confirming the drafted return details before giving final consent to submit.

YourItr and its partner tax professionals will not be liable for penalties, interest, or scrutiny notices issued by the Income Tax Department due to incorrect, concealed, or misrepresented information provided by you.

3Client Authorization & E-Filing Consent

By hiring YourItr, you grant our assigned tax professionals permission to act as your authorized representatives for preparing and filing your ITR. This includes:

  • Accessing the Income Tax e-filing portal on your behalf using credentials provided or OTP authentication.
  • Generating XML/JSON filing schema representing your financial statements.
  • Uploading forms, schedules, and declarations under Section 139 of the Income Tax Act.

4Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi.
